Family Partnership
A true partnership between home and cohort
Iron Scholars provides teacher-led primary instruction during cohort days. Parents reinforce that learning on non-cohort days — and that combination is what makes the model work.
Monday & Friday
Recommended at-home reinforcement
Short, consistent practice at home keeps skills warm and accelerates progress. Home reinforcement is highly recommended.
What parents can expect from us
- Initial academic assessment
- Individualized learning goals

Parent input about your child is welcomed. Instructional leadership of the cohort remains with Iron Scholars.
You know your child better than anyone, and we genuinely want what you know. Planning, grouping, pacing, and instructional decisions for the cohort are carried by the teacher — so that every scholar receives coherent, professional instruction.
Discipline & Culture
Purposeful. Restorative. Instructional. Biblical.
Children are allowed to have emotions. Emotions do not excuse harmful behavior. Consequences connect directly to the behavior, and the goal is always growth.
What this looks like
- If a scholar disrupts or damages the environment, they help restore it.
- If a scholar hurts someone with words, they acknowledge the harm, apologize, and work toward restoration.
- Adults stay calm, clear, and kind — and expectations stay firm.
The progression
- 1Reflection
- 2Responsibility
- 3Repentance
- 4Restoration
- 5Growth
The Power of Yet
“I can’t do this…yet.”
